Because I was away for such a lengthy period of time, its nice to see some really brilliant stuff from alot of people, and its also really wonderful to have all of your support and comments - I may not get back to you right away but I certainly try to acknowledge my gratitude for all of the backing you lot give me

Its actually really nice to be doing some work that I feel is new and interesting from my own perspective, I'll probably end up painting a few of the collages that I've been creating, but I feel they have some merit as they are now

When Sunny gets blue
Her eyes get gray and cloudy

So last week i finally finished uni for the summer

I plan on continuing my project from it over the summer and then into next year

Its really got me excited again in the possibilities of paint, I've done many paintings and drawings which arent up on deviantART and I dont intend them to be. Last year in particular I became very bored with how monotonous I found painting

I did however go to see an exhibition on Francis Bacon at the Tate Britain last Autumn, that is what has got me excited about art again

If you've never seen his work, if you've not idea of whom he is, then take five minutes to just look him up

He provided for me a catalyst that once again lit the fire within my heart for paint

i've been working away obsessively recently,

more often than not creating a painting everyday

i've been having such a refreshing take on everything lately

its hard to imagine now, but last summer i did only one painting throughout!
